Soya Nugget Curry (serving 1) :-
INGREDIENTS: (serving- 1)
- Soya chunks - 25 gm(any Size)
- Onion-50gm (Chopped)
- Tomato-50gm ( pureed /chopped)
- Ginger - ⅓ tsp (paste/chopped)
- Green Chilli-1 (chopped)
- Turmeric powder - ⅓ tsp
- Black pepper- ⅓ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Garam masala- ⅓ tsp
- Coriander leaves for garnishing
- Oil/Ghee- 5 ml
- Cumin Seeds- ½ tsp
- Coriander powder- ⅓ tsp
- Amchoor powder -a fat Pinch.
- Asfoetida- 1 small pinch
METHOD:
- Soak soya chunks in hot water for 15-20 minutes.
- In a pressure Cooked, heat oil/ghee.
- Let Jeera (Cumin Seeds) crackle.
- Saute Ginger and Heeng for a minute.
- Then add onions and Saute for 2-4 minutes.
- Now add green chilli, Turmeric , Black pepper, coriander powder , garam masala and mix well.
- Add Tomato and Cook well.
- Now add water - ½ cup and let it boil.
- Now add squeezed soya chunks, salt, amchoor and mix well.
- Cover the lid and cook for a single whistle.
- Let the pressure be released on its own and transfer into a serving bowl.
- Garnish with Coriander leaves
- Enjoy with chapati/Rice/millet.
