Ingredients (servings- 2)
- Oil or Ghee -1 tsp
- Cinnamon stick - ½ inch
- Garlic cloves -8-9
- Coriander stems-Handful ( chopped)
- Coriander leaves- Handful (chopped)
- Black peppercorns- 6-10 (freshly crushed)
- Salt to taste
- Water -2 cups
- Lemon juice -½
Method
- Heat a little oil in a pan and sauté a cinnamon stick, garlic, and chopped coriander for a minute to release aroma.
- Add 2 cups of water, crushed black peppercorns, salt.
- Let the mixture simmer for 3–4 minutes so the flavours infuse well.
- Add ,coriander leaves.
- Mix it well & let it cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Once ready, pour it into a cup or bowl.
- Finish with a squeeze of lemon for enhanced flavour.
- Serve hot as a soothing, light, and comforting drink.
